Michelle Giametta - Manager of Communications

Michelle Giametta joined LICA in 2010 as Manager of Communications, responsible for managing the website, social media technologies, and electronic communications and newsletters, drafting press releases and newsletter articles, and organizing and arranging media events. Prior to joining LICA, Michelle interned at a variety of communication organizations including News 12 Long Island as a producer's and reporter's assistant, the Independent Film Channel (IFC), and the Hofstra University Media Literacy Research team. Michelle graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media Studies with a minor in Political Science from Hofstra University. She currently resides in Massapequa.
