The morning snow set a perfect backdrop for LICA’s Annual Holiday Party last Thursday. Over 150 members, friends and guests joined LICA staff and board members at the Watermill for an evening of camaraderie and cocktails, with dinner and a dessert bar – complete with chocolate fountain! Despite some heavy traffic and snowy conditions, LICA thanks all our members, friends and supporters who came out to join us, among them several elected officials including: Assemblyman Michael Fitzpatrick, Suffolk County Legislators Kate Browning and Tom Cilmi, Legislator-elect Rudy Sunderman, Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, Smithtown Supervisor-elect Edward Wehrheim, Huntington Town Councilwoman Susan Berland, and Islip Town Councilman Steve Flotteron, as well as Suffolk County Chief of Staff Lisa Black. LICA also welcomed DOT Region 10 Director Joe Brown and MTA Chief Operating Officer, Phil Eng.
