Without the dollars to rebuild our nation's infrastructure, New York can't get on the road to economic recovery. That's why the road you drive on every day needs repaving ... why you get stuck in the same bottleneck or at the same intersection every day ... why the bridge you cross is covered with rust. In the national competition for federal infrastructure funds, New York State has failed to aggressively pursue its fair share or allocate dollars for projects on Long Island.
1. Tell LICA About Your Broken Road
Email Your Photos And Comments to email@example.com
Let everyone know there's a highway, road or street in your area that needs fixing! Grab your camera and take a photo of that awful pothole, that rusty bridge, faded road/lane markers ... or whatever else you feel needs attention NOW. We'll post your comments about the sad state of our roads and infrastructure, so that those responsible for getting the job done will do it fast
2. Tell Governor Paterson and your New York elected officials to
Help Long Island get back on the road to economic recovery!
