Ryan C. Cortazzo of Commack has been hired as a staff designer at H2M architects + engineers in Melville. He is a recent graduate from the University at Buffalo in Getzville, N.Y.

Endy A. Herrera of Uniondale has been hired as a staff designer at H2M architects + engineers in Melville. He was a drafter at James J. Stout Architect and Associates in East Northport.

Steven E. Patak of Westbury, an engineer/project manager/construction manager at D&B Engineers and Architects in Woodbury, has been promoted to an associate.
