LICA Celebrates Groundbreakings At Carlls River & Ronkonoma Hub

LICA Executive Director Marc Herbst was happy to be on hand at two recent groundbreaking ceremonies. On October 28, Herbst joined Gov. Kathy Hochul, Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone and numerous other local leaders for the ceremonial groundbreaking for the first part of construction on the Carlls River sewer project. Herbst was proud to stand beside colleagues from LICA member firms Posillico & Bove Industries, whose joint venture serves as the general contractor on this important $409M project. On November 3, Herbst again joined Gov. Hochul, several elected officials, industry partners, and business leaders from across Suffolk County to celebrate the groundbreaking which will mark the beginning of work for Phase 2 of the $700M Ronkonkoma Hub project.
