About FOREWomen Long Island

FOREWomen Long Island is an initiative of the Long Island Contractors’ Association dedicated to connecting and advancing women across construction and infrastructure.

Founded in January 2025 by LICA Director of Communications and Government Relations Jaime Franchi, FOREWomen LI has grown into a dynamic industry network offering educational programming, professional development, mentorship and meaningful opportunities for collaboration.

Through its programs and partnerships, FOREWomen LI works to strengthen career pathways, expand women’s visibility and create opportunities for women to lead at every level, from the field to the boardroom.
