LI Pothole Epidemic Puts LICA & It’s Members “Center Stage”

haney.pngAnother brutal Long Island winter has taken its toll on our aging roadways, and everyone has taken notice. Potholes across Long Island have grown in both size and number resulting in dangerous and, in one tragic case, deadly conditions.

So when the press began to inquire about the pothole epidemic and related infrastructure issues, who better to ask than our own “Voice of LICA,” Executive Director Marc Herbst? Apparently, LICA Board Member and Rason Materials General Manager, James Haney III was also high on their list, in addition to Tom Pratt of Scatt Materials!

Over the last few weeks, LICA and it’s members have been featured in numerous radio, TV and/or print articles about this topic – ranging from Local FiOS1 to the New York Times! Click to listen, view or read all about it…
