Thanks to our sponsors' generosity, LICA was thrilled to be able to give back to our community. This year, for the first time ever, LICA chose to include a Charity Partner and selected the United Way of Long Island (UW-LI) – an organization that does so much for so many, right here on our Island. It was our honor to present the United Way with a check for $20,000 (as part of a $25,000 total commitment) for its Mission United program which helps local military veterans and their families. LICA proudly welcomed UW-LI President & CEO Theresa Regnante and two local veterans as our special guests, who each spoke briefly and took part in the check presentation. The veterans also helped distribute special Mission United tee shirts which acknowledge LICA’s support.
