LICA Looking for Answers
In response to the lack of detail in the Governor’s budget, and the lack of action by Long Island legislators, LICA has launched an aggressive media campaign to gain attention for our local infrastructure needs. Working with several labor partners including: IUOE Local 138, Teamsters Local 282, Laborers Local 1298 and the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters, LICAhas initiated a campaign aimed at getting answers about funding for our region’s deteriorating roads & bridges. From message boards on the LIE, to editorials and ads in key publications, LICA’s plea is getting some attention from local media. See below for LICA’s ads, editorials and related stories.
