LICA and the Lt. Governor
Members and guests at LICA’s 2016 Annual Meeting & State Budget Review were in good company, as LICA welcomed several prominent officials to our event on March 10th. NYS Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul addressed the crowd as she accepted LICA’s Partnership Award on behalf of our Honoree, the Long Island Regional Economic Development Council (REDC). The Lt. Governor serves as Chair for all ten of the REDCs and she was most honored to acknowledge the Long Island chapter for their success to date and ongoing efforts. LICA was also pleased to also welcome Senate Majority Leader John Flanagan as our keynote speaker and Senator Tom Croci and Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone who both spoke briefly as well.
